Vacation Reading Club Begins June 11, 2013

Picture
Attention summer readers! Our Vacation Reading Club begins on Tuesday June 11, 2013 with a kick-off celebration (see below) for children and adults of all ages.  Our theme this year is "Dig into Reading".

There are two clubs; one for Preschoolers and Pre-Readers called the Read to Me Club, and one for children up to sixth grade who are able to read by themselves, called the Vacation Reading Club.  Members of the Read-to-Me Club may earn a prize upon reading 20 books.  Members of the Vacation Reading Club may collect a prize after reading for 480 minutes (8 Hours).  If they wish to read more, children may earn more than one prize.

To register your child, please click on the picture to the left.

2013 Annual Appeal Underway

Picture
Thanks to our patrons and their support, the Brielle Public Library is stronger than ever.  Over the past year, we have offered a variety of workshops, cultural programs, lectures, discussion groups, and language classes.  Strength training, yoga and pilates classes are offered for every age and level.  Baby and children's story times and monthly fun-filled children's programs continue to thrive.  And for the art lover, we now host an open art studio, children's classes and continue to exhibit on a rotating basis artworks by many area artists.

By making a donation of $25, we can continue to grow our programs and provide a high level of service to the Brielle community.  If you wish to make an online donation, please click on the link above.  We thank you in advance for your continued support.
