The Brielle Public Library is the first library in the Monmouth County Library System to offer delivery to the homebound.
What is the Brielle Community Library Association Homebound Delivery Service?
The purpose of the Brielle Community Library Association Homebound Book Delivery Program is to provide Brielle residents and paid library associate members, on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to utilize specific library services when medical/physical limitations restrict their ability to personally visit the library.
General Description of Program
-Homebound participant has until 5pm on Wednesday to telephonically submit his/her request for service.
-On Friday AM the materials will be delivered to the participant.
-The participant will have two (2) weeks to return the book (or renew) or be fined under normal library procedures. It will be the responsibility of the participant to return the book to the delivery person on the applicable Friday.
-Participants may request regular or large print books and audio books.
-When possible, the library will provide a list of new titles from which the participant may select.
-It will be the participant’s responsibility to insure that the delivery person has unobstructed access for the delivery/pick-up of the materials.

How many items can I borrow at any given time?
A patron may borrow as many as he/she would like.
When are pickups and deliveries?
Pickups and deliveries are made on Friday mornings. Please call the Brielle Public Library if you need to renew your items as normal library procedures and fines apply.
